Yesterday, a concept art of the AC3 cover was leaked all over the internet which exploded into everyone spreading it everywhere!
This morning, they just released the
official AC3 game cover and I must say it's JUST SO FUCKING FULL OF WINNNNNNN
My Opinion on the game's settingActually at first I didn't really know how to feel when I heard the speculations of it being set in the American revolution when I found out about a month ago. I wasn't disappointed about it, but I was expecting something else. But as time passed, I began to understand that it only makes more sense as the time comes closer to Desmond, it is logical to have the next era moved to the Americas. Then I realized how exciting this game could possibly be and today, I found the setting to be in the 18th century in America to be pure genius!
To others who were disappointed because of the new setting, give it some thought. Middle-East, Europe and a hint of Chinese (in Embers) has already be done. American Revolution history was amazing! There's a lot of interesting things that happened during the war. Imagine all those cute teasing they'll do to Shaun because of his Nationality primarily reknowned in the past as Templars!
I guess it's also because a LOT of people (including myself) have grown so attached to Ezio that it will be difficult to accept a new character into the game.
But just give Ubisoft a chance, they DID say it is the BIGGEST project they've ever done in HISTORY. Now that's quite a big announcement to say seeing that AC1,AC2,ACB,ACR are beyond awesome.
Gameplay There are also people who are extremely disappointed that now most weapons in AC3 would consist of guns. In my own opinion, I am most certain they'll retain the hidden blade for silent killing (I mean, that's what Assassins are for!) and the concept of the gunplay in AC2 would most likely be similar to the gunplay in AC3.
Then America in the 1800's was known for low-rise buildings. Well... Perhaps we can finally climb trees!
The Assassin Everyone's curious to whom our new Assassin will be! A lot believed it would be a Native American due to the style of his robes (the cowskin pants, the tomahawk, the indie necklace etc.). I think this is pretty cool. Sounds hot too! Hahaha.
